Browser Keyboard Shortcuts

Recommended Posts

If you are like me, you're much faster on a keyboard than a mouse. Keyboard shortcuts can make things so much faster. For example, in Firefox I know people who when they want to open a new tab they go to the File menu and click on New Tab. That could take three seconds, while pressing Ctrl+T takes less than one. There is a faster way to do everything. While browsing around I found this great list of keyboard shortcuts for web browsers at http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/keyboard . A few of these I used before, but many I never knew. This page shows shortcuts for Firefox, IE, and Opera and for Windows, Linux, and OS X. Look over this list and become familiar with the shortcuts, and you can become much faster with your browser.

On the right side you will see options for other short cuts. I couldn't get the Windows to work, but the "All" brought up all short cuts... pretty cool...
