:adios: I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. I will post my test results here.http://www.pcpitstop.com/techexpress.asp?id=ET8HHW3XPMWSH4HW. My bandwith speed is very slow at 19. I am not sure how to change this as I have dial-up. Is there a solution that will speed it up for dial up? Thanks so much in advance.

On your test page, did you click the tip that says slow internet? Did you follow all the instructions?

BTW... 256mb ram is the bare minimum for XP. You might want to invest a few $$ to add more.

Thank, i'll try that. I do have an external hard drive with 160GB on it. I have moved all of my photos on it but not sure what other things I should put on it that wil be ok and not to affect my operations. Any Suggestions? Thanks. :)

You can move, games, music, videos, pics, any programs you don't use but don't want to throw away. All of those items can be put on your external drive without, messing up your, um, "operations".. :)

Still, though,. addding more ram will be your easiest and cheapest way of boosting your pc's performance.

I would get PCpitstop Optimize, this will fix all problems with your browser, making it run quote, "200% times faster", it made my internet run better. Oh, and, I would invest $$$ into a new Hard Drive, and RAM.

I would upgrade your ram to 1GB for best performance, and I would upgrade your HD to 80GB. I would recommend you getting these upgrades at: http://www.compusa.com/ Good Luck!
