Found this while poking around in Folder Options.

This is for those times when you're in Windows Explorer and want to delete or even open multiple files at a time, without having to hold the Ctrl key while select the files/folders. First open Folder Options (Control Panel-Folder Options) and click on the View tab and put a check next to "Use check boxes to select items:,

Then when you mouse over files and folders there will be a check box beside each,

then just right click and select Open or Delete, depending on which you want to do (if Open, all the files and folders will open pretty much simultaneously in their own window).
