Cannot Print

Here is the script error I am getting:

I also cannot print from word, notepad, or anything else.


This is a laptop and I'm trying to print to the printer plugged into the desktop. That desktop can print.


All of this started after I had plugged in the printer/scanner (the one I'm trying to get to work) into the laptop so that I could scan pictures into the laptop. Since then it's been not working. This laptop can print to other printers though.

the software contains the drivers for your printer

if you look in add/remove programs you should see it installed there

but if its not there then the software is not installed


if you check desktop in the add/remove programs

you will see the printers software installed there

thats why it works for desk top


so the same has to be done for laptop

No. You don't have to install all the drivers. If you are networked with the desktop.

You have to add the printer though. Add the printer, and point it to the one hooked to

the desktop. If will load a few items needed to allow the lappy to print. It will use the
