My desktop is a dell that has been rehabilitated. I bought a dell 2 years ago and now the only dell that is left in it is the CPU and video card.

the first thing i do is re-install windows on them

takes off the garbage that i dont need

well, some of it atleast

but ya im not sure why the score is slow even windows xp score is low.

to me it looks like a glicth with the pit test for my cpu pent m and memory being so slow?

this little cpu does 40sec on superpi:)

so i figure i show it sense it says laptop scores)

but ya im sure this laptop should be scoreing alot higher than its doing.

because on 3dmark 05 it does 7000:) and 06 it does 3500:)

Here's my $400 laptop im gonna get another stick of ram because it will run in dual channel but its ok for what i use it for any advise would be great http://www.pcpitstop.com/techexpress.asp?id=FXT9FWWRFUWS9PAJ

Shut down some of the optional running programs is all I can think to say. You are out past the expected scores on every measure. The Celeron-M is a very good performer for the money. It is really a Centrino processor with half the L-2 cache and the Speedstep disabled but clock speed for clock speed they keep right up with the Pentium-Ms.
