African Wild Life "Live Cam"

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the Alert, Caintry.

I missed the Rhinos, but it does look like the management has topped off the pond.

Sure is a "big baby"! While I was watching he/she just "flopped" and started nursing......I thought "Whoa Nellie! He/she's just as big as mama almost...." :yikes:

Rhino drinking water and parading around a bit.

This new format has me a bit confused.

It might not be "live" broadcast just now.

It should be mid-day, and the picture is night.

Hmmmm.

OK.

It's live on the first linked page now.

Nothing much going on right now.

Ever check out Pete's Pond..... from National Geographic.

Very nice site and good alternative when things are slow at the Africam Watering Hole.

Drat! I hate this, I went back for a little more watching of the Cape Buffalo and I'm seeing in front of the water hole what appears to be "throw down" trash from tourists or slovenly Park employees.... :IG:

Interesting map TOG....can see the lights of the bigger cities at night. Interesting cam of the North Border too, bet there are a lot of crashes at that intersection, would'a sworn I saw a couple of "close calls" while I watched.

Still hard to beat Natures beauty that our LORD put on this earth.....Wildebeast and Impala and Zebra grazing, and some tourists (or whoever) driving around in a truck (few minutes ago)....

edit: almost forgot the pretty lady who came out onto the patio and waved at the camera, supposedly for whoever she was talking to on her cell phone...;)

It surely must be "calving" season for the Wildebeest, I see lots of calves in the herd along with a couple of Impala grazing.....

Natures babies of any sort always seem cute and frolicky.....

It's a shame. He/it was pretty big and ugly, and had 3 birds riding on him picking insects. Rather large set of tusks too..... Pretty cool actually, I was really getting into watching him and suddenly it was like the camera "rebooted", and then "Oh look! there's a few Impala right here by the tree that aren't doing anything". :(
