PC Pitstop's Optimizer won't install - why?

Recommended Posts

Well, the above just about says it all. I have downloaded the latest Optimizer as well as the one before it, and both had the same problem with the OCX registration.

I don't know how double-clicking the .exe icon can involve error on my part, but - what did I do wrong? If I didn't do anything wrong, then surely I'm not the only poor slob who is having this same problem.

I have Win98SE, 256MB RAM, a half-full 80G hard drive, and a 2.2Ghz Celeron Intel processor. If need other system stats, ask.

So who ELSE is having this same problem, and how are they able to make this program run?

Thanks,

Holly B.

Could you please post the full .OCX error. I'm not sure but I BELIEVE optimizer was designed for the NT file system. Win98 is not based on that system.
