rcranium
You want to create a self-extracting file with a collection of photos of documents, so first you have to get WinZi... No you don't! Click Start, Run and type IEXPRESS to start the wizard to one of the most useful, free, Windows programs that no one uses. Not only can you quickly make an archive of files in an .Exe file. You also can create an actual licence and instructions on how the recipient can contact you about it.

TomGL2
Just a note that you don't need Windows XP to be able to use the IExpress Deployment Kit. (IDK). It's available for download at the following URL - download.microsoft.com/.../idk99.exe The package installs in the C:\ODK-IDK folder. Several extra files are included, and you can delete all but the Tools folder containing the IDK, and Navigating The IExpress Configuration Wizard.doc. Advanced users will also want to keep Q190053 Adding Custom Applications to Active Setup with the ODK.txt and ODK.INF. If IExpress.exe generates an error when run, you need the Visual Basic run-time libraries from download.microsoft.com/.../VB6.0-KB290887-X86.exe To install, double-click file, click Yes, Browse, and OK. Click Start, Run, type command /c %windir%\temp\vbrun60sp6.exe and click OK. Edited May 17, 2006 by TomGL2
