BWest36
Whats sata interface?
dickster
Serial ATA. Unless your motherboard supports it, the drive won't work. You need to be sure what type drive you use.

BBYTech587
How do I find out? Best Bet is to check the manual that came with your motherboard, it will tell you what interface you have.

BWest36
You're not gonna believe this but my idiot cousin already ordered the other one that isn't compatible. He said it should arrive soon. Does zipzoomfly do exchanges for a similiar item or do you have to ship it back wait for your refund and then buy the other one all over?
dickster
Never had to do that. How long ago did he order it? If it hasn't been shipped you can probably cancel the order and the get the correct one. If already shipped, they'll most likely charge you a restocking fee to send it back. BWest36
He said it already shipped, because I think he ordered it a few days ago when I told him to wait. Anyhow... is there any way to exchange that item for the other item or do I have to ship that back, get my refund, buy the new one and wait for that as well?
dickster
If you ordered by credit card, just order the right one, and then request an RMA from them when that one comes. Once they receive it back, they will credit your card for the price, minus the restocking fee.
