Hey there,
I'm debating with myself around the issue of buying a new laptop/tablet.
I saw Asus's new transformer (Android, quad core), which can be connected to a keyboard, but for the same price I can get a pretty good laptop.
I'm looking for a computer to use in studies, so there are some features I really like about the tablet:
* strong battery
* camera - which should come in really handy for easy scanning of document and articles to read on the road
* ease of reading long docs and watching lectures.
* really light and easy to carry around
What I'm scared of:
* not using standard Office (pretty important for handing in papers)
* not as convenient as a laptop for writing long docs (critical for homework)
* processor weakness (relative to a laptop of a similar price)
A shorter list, of cons - but they seem to me to be quite crucial...
Any suggestions/advice?
Thanks,
Nelson
