here's the problem i'm trying to solve: i have a system with an radeon 6870 that uses two monitors. each of those two monitors connect to the separate dvi ports on the video card. i also have a 32" lcd tv connected to the video card via hdmi. i can, in windows 7, swtich back and forth in video modes (windows key + p) and have either 1 of my dvi monitors and the tv, just the tv, or both of the dvi monitors. i would like my display to simply span all three monitors. windows display settings won't allow me to do it. it shows all three, but if i choose to span to more than 2 it simply won't let me save it. next i try to use the the vision engine control center to set up an eyefinity group, but it won't allow me to use the hdmi device in the group even though it clearly detects it (see screencap). anyway...anyone here familiar with this kind of setup with any suggestions?

I have Win7 Pro 64-bit with a Radeon 5700 series Graphics card. I have the 11.7 update for my graphics card which works fine, but when I update the graphic card software to the latest driver and I go on to YouTube and make a video full screen and exit out of it, my screen turns black and stays black, and the computer freezes like that. I don't know why it does that, I was thinking that it might be a conflict between the driver and flash, but my flash driver is also up-to date. So I don't understand what I can do to help the situation. Any help would be appreciated Thanks
