When running Lord of the Rings Online, I randomly get crash to desktop events. They don't seem to follow any sort of pattern, such as when given many commands, when in specific areas, etc. I've been with LOTRO tech support, and they said talk to my ISP and ask them to reduce the settings on my firewall. I do not use the Norton security software provided by Comcast, so Comcast tech support said they told me they can't help. I can't white-list lotro because scans are not catching it as a security risk. Is there a way to manually enter an exception? As to other fixes, I have tried everything; port forwarding, disabling sound drivers, user-specified ports, and a bunch of others. It doesn't make sense that it would even be a firewall problem at all though, because it still crashes when all my firewalls are turned off...

With limited knowledge of putting components together, I would like to see if any one here could come up with suggestions on a system. Mainly just the tower including the case. This will be used primarily for gaming and would like to put the fastest system possible not to exceed $800. Thanks in advance! Jeff
