  1. This is the second time I tried to post this, being that I am using IE8 which froze after I wrote this post. After my Windows 7 went down yesterday, I tried to use this XP to download something to make a startup floppy to start my Windows 7. Both are on the same wireless network. Anyway, the download was so malevolent that even after running eScan, Baidu AntiVirus, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and SuperAntiSpyware, my default browser Firefox is still infected. Sites that normally do not have them have ads. There are popups whenever I have to log into a site. Any recommendations? I should be thankful this machine runs at all.
