  1. So, I was cleaning one of the rooms in my house, listening to music off of my tablet. The music stopped, so I figured that the battery had died. I plugged it in, and found that the charge wasn't the problem, but it was at low battery, so I charged it anyway. I came back later to see that it had completely turned off. I tried rebooting it, but that didn't work. When you turn it on, you hold the power button, until the Lenovo logo appears. After that, the orange turns to pictures of people doing things, then it's supposed to go back to the logo, bring the brightness down, (I have the brightness
  2. I have a desktop PC running Windows 7, and no other OS, and it was working fine. And since I was going to go down to a friend's house to fix his non-booting Windows 10 PC, I copied Windows 10 from disc to a USB stick (via Rufus, a bootable USB stick creator program), and to test the Windows 10 USB stick was working, I booted up my Windows 7 desktop via the USB stick, got to the Windows 10 menu, and turned off the Windows 7 desktop. I did this because I thought that the Windows 10 installation USB wouldn't actually change anything on the PC until I told it to (which I wasn't going to do, of cou
  3. Possible Windows 7 No Update Problem Again. I say possible, because I want to make sure before I go and look at the other Update problem thread here. As I said, this is now the 2nd time ( if there is a problem ) I've had this problem this year. I had it a few months back, & used something like Mr Fix It for Updates & it fixed the problem. But before I go look at the other thread about this subject here, I want to know for sure I have it again. I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit. And was wondering what is the latest/last update others have had to their computers? Mine is showi
  4. Hello friends, I am having an issue and have tried a variety of fixes with no luck, so I am turning to the Internet. I have tried searching forums for resolutions to my issue, but found only solutions I have already tried or got "it just started working again". I have a beautiful rig I built myself. The desktop is my baby. I've had it for two years now and have yet to have an issue with it. On Wednesday I began to have connectivity issues late at night in the middle of a game with friends. The Internet dropped and would only return intermittently for several seconds before dropping again.
  5. Would someone kindly help me with this error message please. When the PC has completed the start-up sequence there remains an error message on the screen. It has the usual white cross in a red roundel....................... There was a problem starting. C:UsersRobertAppDataLocalConduitBackgroundContainerBackgroundContainer.dll..............This started 4/5 days ago for no apparent reason Once I click on 'OK' the error box disappears and the PC runs normally, seemingly without problems but it would be nice not to see the error message at all. Thank you and have a nice day.
