  1. I've had the same rig for over 5 years now.. Here's a few pics..
  2. I personally use the coolance water cooling system.. https://koolance.com/ex2-755-exos-2-v2-liquid-cooling-system-aluminum I use waterblocks for the CPU & both VGA's https://koolance.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=29_148_46 https://koolance.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=29_148_44 I have been using water for 14 years and replaced the system twice and it's still going strong. Good luck whichever you decide.

  6. Hello Pitsters, I've been gone many years now. I recently closed "The Raptor Pit Forums" due to a hacker and a poor forum back up. I heard that we lost IG, Caintryboy and now Ykawika passed away.. I still see a lot of people still here. My heart goes out to the families of those departed.. RIP
  7. I heard about IG's passing awhile back.. It's been a long time since I logged in.. IG was a great friend.. rest in peace brother.

  10. Contest open to all classes of CPU's AMD vs AMD Core2 vs Core2 i7 vs i7 single core vs single core See how your rig compares to others... No Video testing at all!!!! only 2 bench's (cinebench & crytalmark) see ya there... only a few more days to sign up the game is under way....

  12. How bout this.... http://www.geilusa.com/proddetail.asp?linenumber=58#
  13. you should get a new install disk with your new HDD if not go to the Mfgr site and download the install/formatting program Older drives are Used drives that have data on it.
  14. Plug the Sata in first with the Ide unplugged for and older or used drive... write zeros to the drive (cleans it up) for a new drive or zeroed drive make 2 partitions 1 about 10g the rest on the 2nd partition format both... I reccomend ntfs @ 4kb clusters then do your install... install on the D drive after your done, hook up your Ide drive reboot
  15. Something I thought I would pass along..... Subject: FW: BBQ Season After a long winter, we are finally coming up to summer and BBQ season. Therefore it is important to refresh your memory on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking as it's the only type of cooking a real man will do, probably because there is an element of danger involved. When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put into motion: Routine... 1) The woman buys the food. 2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables, and makes dessert. 3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill - beer in hand. Here comes the important part: 4) THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE GRILL. More routine.... 5) The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery. 6) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is burning. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another beer while he deals with the situation. Important again: 7) THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE GRILL AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN. More routine..... 8.) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins, sauces and brings them to the table. 9) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes. And most important of all: 10) Everyone PRAISES the MAN and THANKS HIM for his cooking efforts. 11) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed "her night off." And, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no pleasing some women....
