  1. Do you have to uninstall previous versions of Spybot before installing the latest version? If so, is there any trick to this process or can we just use the uninstall feature in the control panel?


    I installed over the old version and had no problem. It knew where the program was previously installed and kept my settings intact.

    It does scan faster also.

  2. I'm having the same problem except only with IE Tab. OverDrive works in IE and the old test works fine in both. I have followed instructions on removing and reinstalling the pitstop utility, disabled all extensions except IE Tab, disabled pop up blocker, firewall. A/V, and checked security settings but nothing has helped.

  3. Would someone please check my logfile. I don't know what the R0 and O22 entries are.

  4. It is part and parcel of IE7 now and will force itself back into start up if you delete the start entry - something to live with


    I was able to keep it from starting up. Try this-

    Control Panel, Regional and Language Options, Languages Tab,

    Click Details, Advanced Tab, Put a check in "Turn off advanced text


  • Create New...
