  1. Hey, I tried this and Excel did open (which it hasn't been doing), however the Windows Installer still opened as well. I am prompted for a CD, which as I mentioned I do not have. If I click OK it tells me that I could also use the file titled SDIPN11.MSI, if I find it in a folder, which I cannot. Clicking Cancel reveals another Error Message. This time. Error 1706: Setup cannot find the required files. Check your connection to the network, or CD-ROM drive. For other potential solutions to this problem, see C:\Program File\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\1033\SETUP.CHM This do
  2. Hello there, When attempting to open Excel a Window Installer opens and I am told that I'm missing SKU011.CAB. I've read about this elsewhere and the regular solution seems to be using Registry Editor to change the CDCache value from 2 to 0 (found here: http://www.sku011cab.com/). When I do this it still does not work. The Windows Installer still opens but instead of prompting for the missing SKUO11.CAB I receive the following error: "Error 1311. Source file not found C:\MSOCache\All Users\90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9\E2561410.CAB. Very that the file exists and that you can acce

  4. Hello again, I removed LiveUpDate and it was the only one out of the 4 found Yes I updated Java and removed the older versions The first two to be fixed were not listed on HJT, perhaps because I removed LiveUpDate before doing this, but I did remove the other 4 I could not run Norton Removal Tool, it said the version was expired and provided a link to the new version, which I followed but it said it was expired as well. new HJT Log: Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2 Scan saved at 6:31:47 PM, on 8/31/2009 Platform: Windows XP SP3 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: I
  5. Yes, the Bell Internet Security Services comes bundled with my internet package. I've never had norton on my computer so I'm not sure what that is from, could it be from something like superanti-spyware? I updated everything as per instructions and ran the online scan but there is no log because it finished with no threats found. I ran it as per instructions and turned off all other programs, I assumed there would be a lot more, should I try running it again? here is the new HJT log: Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2 Scan saved at 9:51:36 AM, on 8/31/2009 Platform: Wind

  7. Hi, recently my laptop began giving me these errors upon start up or when I open any application. The error states " [name of program].exe - Bad Image, The application of DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\hxloxj.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette." It only gives the option of clicking 'ok'. Everything still opens after I click ok and everything appears to be working but obviously something must be wrong. Thanks in advance for any help offered.
