  3. Got it to work now and i performed a complete scan.   4. I'm still trying to figure out how to uninstall McAfee. I was able to get internet access again but i still can't update MalwareBytes, It gives an error code: 732 (0,0)
  5. I'm still not able to access the internet. It was working before but now it won't find any networks that it had on before.   6. I was able to restart my computer and close the virus program on the start up before it executed by using task manager. I ran rkill and then ATF cleaner. However MalwareBytes did not allow me to update giving me an error code: 732 (12029, 0) This log file is located at C:\rkill.log. Please post this only if requested to by the person helping you.   7. I can't open ATC cleaner or Malware Bytes, everytime i click on it there is a pop up that says the file is infected and it closes.
  8. I recently got infected by a fake antivirus program called "Security Suite" saying that I am unprotected and i have to purchase the full version in order to scan. It won't allow me to open the Task Manager, is blocking me from using internet explorer, and it will not let me install or run HijackThis. I am currently running Windows Vista.

  11. Hi everytime i try to open firefox or internet explorer, a pop up comes up that says i'm infected saying i should buy the antivirus program. This also happens when i try to open malware bytes or any other antispyware or malware scanner. Av.exe always shows up on the task manager, this also happened when i opened hijack this.   13. Actually i just found that there was a CD in the drive. It came with this little camera i bought off ebay. If i remove the CD from the drive the exe is gone so i think thats where the program is located. Should i still proceed with OTM?
