  1. I always thought that Thomas the tank engine was a sad engine.
  2. I don't think any games available now use 4 cores. Perhaps one or two, but I could be wrong.
  3. Just ordered a 4890. Now I'm really back! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...814131156&T
  4. With bounds of new confidence from my new heatsink, I've decided to get back into the ol' overclocking routine. I'm pretty impressed with this CPU so far. It probably doesn't have much left to go though as it is the B3 revision. At most, I estimate that it has 400 more MHz headroom.
  5. I'm folding with the SMP at the moment as I burn my new heatsink to my CPU. It's a beauty! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835103057 Edit: I'm also folding on my GPUs. Needless to say, my system is quite loud currently.
  6. Who cares. The death of one individual who is only obscurely connected to the populace is dead.
  7. Another trouble maker? You're one of the reasons why no one comes here; you're too smart for us, BB, I bow to you. Someone like BB knows everything even with a piece of junk computer. He must be a Texan. PCPitstop needs more trolls like you, BB. Instead of disagreeing with someone, you merely insult them; I will not stoop to the level of a 12 year old, which is exactly the way you're acting. There! Now you two are on comparable levels. It's no longer like a giant is beating down a small child!
  8. Thanks! Yes, from the heroic version. Nope. Maxing furor will yield more mana benefits than moonglow and genesis does not really stack well with all the other talents/glyphs that increase dot damage; all in all, genesis will yield a measly 0.5 to 1 DPS increase. I am hit capped for any level 83 mob. I'm actually 1.13% over hit cap. My second spec is a tanking one that I use to solo old dungeons and occasionally off-tank in a raid. I don't really do emotes, so my counter is probably on the low side.
  9. My guild destroys 25 man Ulduar hard modes. I've got a piece of ilevel 226 or higher in every gear slot.
  10. Aren't you that guy who we all told to wait before purchasing a new video card? Also, didn't we tell you to buy the 4890 instead of the 4850x2? And didn't you refuse all advice and basically say " you guys, i'm doing what i want"? Now you're asking for help because what everyone told you would happen is now happening? Hmm, mighty suspicious.
  11. Would you happen to have a link to this?
  12. It plays Quake 3-type games amazingly well.
  13. Yes. I'm not sure if you're familiar with these netbooks, they have some really amazing battery life. Also, the games we intend to play are oldies, but goodies.
  14. Hmm, they have a wireless pocket router. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...pocket%20router I wonder if they have a wired pocket router.
  15. As far as future games goes, the FPS percentage difference between your 4870 and 4890 shrink even more. As time goes by, the cards will become more and more similar until you cannot notice a difference between the two. So, by your own logic, you should wait to upgrade as it seems that being able to play future games is a priority for you.
  16. Hmm, yes, a router or hub would be the easiest option. However, that would require some sort of power source which may not be available in certain places in which we plan to game. An option in which there are fewer wires and less bulk is what we could use the most. Perhaps there is a router/hub/switch that does not require an external power source? By the way, this is the netbook: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16834152109
  17. He would have to wait a while for the 5000 series to drop into his price range though. Either that, or he would have to save up his money in order to purchase it when it comes out. My personal opinion on this is to wait and save up as it seems that it is the best course of action. If you buy one of the cards available today, you're essentially paying for old technology.
  18. Is there a USB device that acts as a network hub? Me and my brother both bought netbooks recently and wanted to play some games together but don't want to bring around a huge network hub. I believe that there is already such a thing that enables the use of file sharing (from USB port to USB port with a small device between them); however, I do not know if this device would work as far as playing multiplayer games over some sort of LAN protocol. Example of a file sharing USB device: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16832814002 Does anyone know of something that co
  19. If by "pretty hot" you mean that it runs at a high temperature, then yes, yes it does run pretty hot.
