  9. Go to crucial.com and run their upgrade advisor, it'll tell you what is in there, its speed and what's supported. As for upgrading the ssd, it's likely possible, but you'll have to get a USB to nvme adapter and that's can be frustrating. You'll have to open it up and see what kind is in it if the crucial tool doesn't tell you. Tx
  10. Right on, my oldest will be 19 in Sept as well. I, too, have lost all my kids pics, but it was from a catastrophic hdd failure. I sent ti to FlashBack Data to get it recovered and it was beyond what could be done 15yrs ago. I almost wonder now if the tech has improved and could recover them.

  18. Yeah, the Overdrive test hasn't really been updated or messed with in a bit, so it does have issues. As to 10 being different, it is, but the underlying function is pretty much the same all the way back to XP. Taskbar search function actually works now though. I think that if you've used any M$ OS in the last 15yrs, 10 won't be an issue for you. Tx
