  1. Ok i fixed the link in the OP. And thanks for moving the thread. Didn't quite know the best place for it.
  2. XCPUS.com is conducting a Raffle for 3 CoolerMaster Coolers. Tickets are $10 each. Raffle ends on December 17th 2007 @ 9:30 AM PST Find all the details at: http://www.xcpus.com/forums/news/7803-raff...s-3-places.html Good Luck!
  3. :Tumbleweed: I'm surprised at the lack of participation in the contest. Here we are with the final drawings due and there are only 26 participants. You would think between the 2 forums there would be more intrest in OCing. Guess the limiting factor has been that the gift cards can only be used in the US. Oh well. :pow: On a side note i just noticed the glare and the dry smiles are the same.
  4. Check the link. Its obviously a phishing scam. No matter what you click on in that link it brings you back to that same page. The IRS home page is this. http://www.irs.gov/ Any page that is from the IRS will have that in the address bar. If this was real the IRS would have sent you a letter in the mail with a copy of the form. I will say they did a pretty good job with that site. The search fuction works actually takes you to the real IRS site for the search. But any of the other links in the header there don't work as they should. Here is the page they coppied and made there own t
  5. Update: Just wanting to beat my previous score. PC Mark 05--- 4924 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?pcm05=1111837 3D Mark 06--- 5050 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=3111041 3D Mark 05--- 8854 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=3475868 Total--- 18828 I keep trying to break the 20K mark but it may not happen for me. Funny thing is that PC Mark score happened while i was still running [email protected] Not sure but i think it actually helped my score. Kind of odd. Edit: Ok i fixed the score.
  6. Don't forget to add PC Pitstop to the name as well. Contest rules and all.
  7. I'm on the 93.21 drivers right now. They are the only ones i could get working that would show FM Approved. Havn't touched the NB voltage yet. I have considered upgrading the cooling on the NB though. That may be enough to get me up to 2.9 GHz or even 3.0 GHZ and remain stable. Right now my 2.85 GHz with this Opti 165 is the best OC i've seen on a 165 without better then air cooling. But i also need to get a HS on my V/Rs. The CM Eclips does a good job of getting air to the VRs but i think additional cooling will help. I have the VF-900 cooler on my video card so with the right voltages and
  8. GOod to here then i'll be getting myself one of the 160Gb dirves. I'll also look into the GPU flash. If a voltage increase will help then i'm all for it. Though i don't know if i'll break 10k on 3D Mark 05 or get much past 5.1k on 3D Mark 06. Heck every bench i have run since i havn't been able to get the scores i have posted. It very odd, but i can't even break 2300 in PC Mark right now. Its like the HDD gave me one good run then said OK i'm done with having decent performance.
  9. I see too many Video card flashes gown wrong but hey its worth a try. The problem i have with the card is if i take the GPU over 550 it gets unstable. PNY tends to use the lower level memory and the cheaper GPUs that are not as good with OCing as better quality chips that say EVGA uses. But i think i will be getting a new WD SATA drive with 16mb Cache. I don't need a Raptor but i do need a better drive.
  10. Your X2 4400 and 8800 GTS should easily beat my scores. THough i'm sure you can get more out of the CPU then just a 2.6GHz OC. I have my Opti 165 at 2.85 GHz and if i swap over to my X2 3800 i know i can get at lest 2.6 GHz out of that. Besides i'm limited to an old 200 GB ATA HDD. That's been the major limiting factor in my Futuremark score and my lower end PNY 7900GS isn't doing as good as a 7900GS should be doing.
  11. WOW! Thanks guys. Guess my modest hardware can do somthing.
  12. Could the problem be whatever OCing utility you are using? Maybe its an older version and/or causing changes to the drives which makes ORB unable to ID the drivers correctly. There has to be some reason behind it all.
  13. Wo Ho I'm still bottom of the list. Way to go last place. So who wants a piece of this action? Come on where are all the non Intel systems? There should be a sub category for all of us who don't have quads.
  14. Ok i finally got it right. mpilchfamily Opti 165 7900 GS DDR 500 Muskin 2x 1gb 3D Mark 05----8753 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=3449130 3D Mark 06----5042 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=3028803 PC Mark 05----4173 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?pcm05=1084622 Total----17968 Finally got working drivers. Sorry for all the trouble.
