  7. Ok. I did all that. Booted up a little faster, not much though, maybe a second or 2. Does seem a little more responsive. D.
  8. That's good to know that they look good. Still pretty slow. I guess it's time to upgrade I guess. Thanks for your help. You can now move this thread if needed. D.
  9. Ok. That one actaually finished. First is the OTL log file and then the ESET log file. OTL OTL logfile created on: 4/3/2010 8:28:28 PM - Run 2 OTL by OldTimer - Version 3.1.37.3 Folder = C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop Windows XP Professional Edition Service Pack 3 (Version = 5.1.2600) - Type = NTWorkstation Internet Explorer (Version = 8.0.6001.18702) Locale: 00000409 | Country: United States | Language: ENU | Date Format: M/d/yyyy 2.00 Gb Total Physical Memory | 1.00 Gb Available Physical Memory | 62.00% Memory free 4.00 Gb Paging File | 3.00 Gb A
  10. Hmmm. I've tried the new program and to no avail as well. It gets stuck on initializing. I let it go over night and it was in the same place as it was when started. Is something terribly wrong with this comp or what? What should I do now? D.
  11. Well. I did as you said in your last post. I even tried it with one drive and both drives checked, but it would scan for a while then my computer would reboot. ????? So, what would that mean?
  12. I know that he motherboard sucks. It's slow, that's because of only 2 gig ram. It used to run a little faster but I think something is bogging it down but I don't know what. I'd like to build a new system, I have most of it, but the wife wont let me till work picks up. lol. If you think it's ok for now, then fine, I can suffer for a while longer. Thanks for helping. D.
  13. Thanks Tom. Here's both reports.
