Hey thanks a bunch for helping. It seems a little better, but Like I said, I think it's time to upgrade. We'll see how long this thing keeps ticking while I price up some other components. Thanks, D.

Ok. I did all that. Booted up a little faster, not much though, maybe a second or 2. Does seem a little more responsive. D.

That's good to know that they look good. Still pretty slow. I guess it's time to upgrade I guess. Thanks for your help. You can now move this thread if needed. D.

Hmmm. I've tried the new program and to no avail as well. It gets stuck on initializing. I let it go over night and it was in the same place as it was when started. Is something terribly wrong with this comp or what? What should I do now? D.
-
Well. I did as you said in your last post. I even tried it with one drive and both drives checked, but it would scan for a while then my computer would reboot. ????? So, what would that mean?

I know that he motherboard sucks. It's slow, that's because of only 2 gig ram. It used to run a little faster but I think something is bogging it down but I don't know what. I'd like to build a new system, I have most of it, but the wife wont let me till work picks up. lol. If you think it's ok for now, then fine, I can suffer for a while longer. Thanks for helping. D.
