  1. Sold out before I got to the front of the line. Called all other stores in the area, but same bad news.
  2. Best Buy (not my favorite retailer) had a Compaq for the same $$ but only online, and already sold out. Not sure I'll find another of the same quality for the same price. That's why I'm looking for quick input, and I thank you for yours.
  3. Looking for quick opinions (being only one day sale) on this. Wanting an easy transport type laptop, and the netbooks look like what I need. But does the model look kinda good for the $$ listed? http://shopping.dallasnews.com/ROP/ads.asp...04119&type=
  4. I can't really help you on that, as I am not a network guru. I just searched out the problem you listed and found that link. Sorry.
  5. Does this help, maybe... http://www.visualwin.com/Log-in/logging-failed-logins.html
  6. Any old abandoned air strips that can be converted to a drag strip? Maybe owners might be willing to allow you to use it if you and the others chip in on insurance and upgrades to make it happen. Just a thought, as thats what we did way back in the 60's. But ours was a paved road to an abonded quarry.
  7. We wouldn't try that with the bikes I used to ride,
  8. As stated, I do understand what you have been saying. I fully agree that they have been lax in addressing this issue. But maybe now something will get done to resolve it. We can hope!
  9. Was a joke my friend. I understand what you are upset over, and agree Stanford should address the issue. My watercooling is done due to Texas heat, and not folding.
  10. Yes we did. To all those that gave a click, you have my thanks! But to all, seems there will be a new challenge this coming month. I ask that you check for it, and add your daily click. We can make a difference. My thanks to all.
  11. Nope, same external addy. Only the internal addy is different.
  12. We could help donate $10,000.00 for a very worthy cause. Please join in.
  13. Might have some on the way from a guy at the EVGA forum. Will wait and see if they work.
  14. Being that small it is not a stock tap. It can be special ordered at an inflated price.
  15. No springs, Bruce. These screws are smaller than 4-40 machine screws. I bought some 2-56 at Radio Shack. They are about the right size, but the wrong thread. If I had a tap that size I might try using them, but I don't.
  16. Missing a bunch of screws for an EVGA 9800GTX card. I still have a few, but I can't find any more. Need to find out what size/thread these are so I can look to order online. Anyone know?
  17. The Gremlin may have been ugly, but mine would go where most 2 wheel drive cars feared. Took that little beast on some very rough Colorado mountain trails, and it never let me down. Bought it new in 1975. The engine went into a Hornet when the body was just too beat up to drive anymore.
  18. The true spirit of Christmas. Thanks for sharing that with us.
  19. May this joyous season find each and every one of you in the best of health, happiness, and good spirits. I'm sure we have all gone through a very scary year with all that has happened, but let us look to reason for tomorrow. May be peace and happiness fill your hearts.
  20. If you mean different work units, no you can't get them working on the same project at the same time. The may get assigned the same work unit number, but they will be running a separate section of the same protein. Did that make any sense, cause it didn't to me. LOL
  21. Glad to have you back on the team, hftmrock.
  22. I can't answer that myself, since I'm still running outdated equipment. But I'm sure some of the others will be along soon to help you out on that. But from me, Thanks for joining our team.
  23. And our small but dedicated team thanks you.
