At the moment the video board is listed on the test as 'standard pci graphics adapter' you also have a nvidia installed? can you find out the vendor id and device id for the standard vga? heres how: Start > run > type in: regedit > Hkey_local_machine > enum > pci find the standard graphics adapter. you want the first 4 numbers of VEN and DEV
  11. Hi when you download spybot it wont run unless you have updated the detection rules. So after downloading search for updates and make sure you check the box to download the detection rules. Avg - automatic updates > open avg to see control centre> click on update manager > select properties (button at bottom) > check update immediately has a mark in it.

(Edit: sorry ment java applet, but test for that is on the smae page anyway) http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm It may also help to clear the cache and temp internet files. to clear java cache go to start > settings > control panel > java plug in > cache tab > clear to clear temp internet files start > run > type in cleanmgr
  14. its to do with java. check that you have enabled your java settings in internet explorer > tools > internet options > advanced tab > scroll down and see if your java settings are enabled
  15. Go to start > search > files and folders (local harddrive c:) > type in download > search you'll probably see more then 1 download folder. double click on them to see if any of them are the folder you are looking for. I have more then 1 download folders on my c drive.
