  1. TDU2 is not slow when cruising down the road at 180 plus through traffic and fallout 4 keeps you on your toes too. Granted neither one is run and gun, (maybe fo4 at times). Older games but good games, like fo3 and gta:sa. Heck, my first tv computer game was pong, then upgraded to intellivision. First computer games were Ripper (cool Blue Oyster Cult song Reaper), Zork Nemisis and Inquisitor and 11th Hour. Like over 20 years ago.
  2. No, not into mp war games at all. Young mans game. I am old man, lol, 66 years old, or as I like to say 46 and 240 months. Big fan of TDU2 and the Fallout series though. Accepted your friend request, kool.
  3. Same user name on steam also. Not on origin P.S. Nice BF4 video mate.
  4. Acer 34" Predator gsync 100Hz refresh. 3440x1440
  5. Here's my results from Cinebench, ran cpu and gpu twice for good measure: CPU: <a href='http://i.imgur.com/die22n8' title=''><img src='http://i.imgur.com/die22n8.jpg' alt='' title='Hosted by imgur.com' /></a> GPU: <a <a href='http://i.imgur.com/lz1zWJH' title=''><img src='http://i.imgur.com/lz1zWJH.jpg' alt='' title='Hosted by imgur.com' /></a> Actually running Win 10 Home 64bit, dont know why test results say Win 8. P.S. Got rid of other links and got the right ones in. Got rid of photobucket and figuring out new one.
  6. TY terry!! Rme, here is my heaven stats @ 3440x1440 Default: http://imgur.com/CsDArmN Extteme: http://imgur.com/7mlhpWv Extreme temps: http://imgur.com/MP5WBDD
  7. Ok, will give it a go. My personal experience with the X299 platform is nothing but positive so far. Got a Time Spy score of 10,327 : http://www.3dmark.com/spy/2185854hitting 4.5GHz on all 10 cores. I believe where there are problems lie with the others needing to catch up to the X299 platform. Of course could be totally wrong there.
  8. Internet we both have the same weighted score 200. Big difference is video, I have 2783 to your 5355. Do not know why the big difference there. Also the last stat on the page: My video: 696 Yours: 1339 Yet 3d: My 3D: 44153 Yours: 32525
  9. Weird, the only category you are higher is the video, which is strange. I even have a higher weighted score, but yet you are in the top 2%. Shouldn't even be close?????
  10. Score: 40,800 http://www.pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=25965705 i9-7900x asus prime x299-A g-skill 4x4 3200MHz titan-x pascal
  11. How you liking that titan xp, aren't they great? I love mine, :>).
  12. Maybe that much difference between 16bit and 32bit?
  13. Then, IMHO, 16bit should be dropped if all the good it does is give people a "feel good" boost, :>). Seems like I remember using it years ago, but really, who uses it now irl?
  14. With a titan, why are you running video in 16bit?
  15. Refer to my '22,374 @ 2560 x 1600 32bit' of 04 Dec 2011 in 'Post Your Pitstop Results'.
  16. Just got a couple of Sapphire 7970s and thought I'd give it a go. Good increase on the video score over my 5970 + 5870 tri-fire setup. 2600K @ 5GHz 7970s @ 1125/1575 Score 22,678 http://www.pcpitstop...?conid=24749603
  17. Here's a couple of comments: http://www.ocforums.com/showpost.php?p=602...amp;postcount=4 http://www.prophecy.co.za/forums/topic/537...post__p__611978
  18. I've read and also found true that the i7-940 doesn't like even multipliers. It prefers the odd ones, e.g. 19, 21, 23. I have HT enabled when benching. It gives me a higher CPU and total score in Vantage but with a slightly less oc. With it turned off I can get an extra 200MHz and higher GPU score in Vantage but not a total score. Agree, it's not worth the extra heat when surfing and gaming. I keep it off then.
  19. Tried those settings and it was a no-go. Froze up during the cpu 1 test in vantage. Pretty much needs 1.44v to complete. I found my 24-7 sweet spot at 3.8GHz (23 x 166), CPU PLL at 1.90v, QPI/DRAM Core Voltage at 1.29v and CPU voltage at 1.29v with ram timings at 8-8-8-21-1N. When I type in 1.65 for ram voltage it sets at 1.66, so I just keep it at 1.64 and err on the side of safety. Runs cool and stable with no problems running any games I play......fo3, gta4, tdu, gta:sa, tw2008, fuel, fc2...
  20. For benching: Ai OC Tuner: X.M.P. CPU Ratio: 21 Intel SpeedStep: Disabled BCLK Freq 200 QPI/DRAM : DDR3-1603 DRAM Timing: 8-8-8-21-1N CPU Voltage: 1.44 CPU PLL Voltage: 1.96 QPI/DRAM Core Voltage: 1.40 DRAM Bus Voltage: 1.64 Load-Line Cal: Enabled CPU Diff Amp: 800mV CPU Spread Spec: Disabled PCIE Spread Spec: Disabled The rest are set to AUTO Graphics cards are 800/965 I can boot and game with CPU voltage at 1.38v, CPU PLL at 1.90 and QPI/DRAM Core at 1.38 with the above settings, but running benchmarks stress it a little to much. Oh, my i7-940 is a 'C0' revision, not a 'D0'.
  21. Running vantage temps top out in the high 70s to low 80s at 4.2GHz. Running my normal 3.8GHz they run my games in the mid 60s. Weird part is that it will run at 3.8GHz with vcore @ 1.29 but to get to 4.2GHz I have to jump to 1.44v.
  22. Installed Win 7 HP x64 got a little higher score. http://pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=22890963
  23. Will that be DirectX 9, 10 and 10.1?
