  1. I re-installed Win XP using the repair selection. I'll have to reload all the XP updates, but I'm up and running at least. Thanks mel8 for your replys. David
  2. The 'Safe Mode with command prompt' scrolls down to the same line as safe mode, then stalls. I tried to restore to a previous point, but that did not work.
  3. I was updating a driver suggested by Driver Agent, but in not paying close attention, I accidentally installed another driver, for the CPU. I know, I know, never install drivers when watching hockey! Anyway, now Win XP Pro will not boot. I tried the boot options ‘last known good configuration’ and get a blank screen. I’ve tried ‘Safe Mode’ and lines scroll down and stop at ‘multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\Mup.sys’. I have Bart PE so I can find the raid drives, with all my files, but do not know how I can uninstall the incorrect driver. I did find restore points, before the fatal driver update, but again, not sure what to do next. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks, David
