  1. I just want to update and mention that I love this new system. Even with 4 fans, it is much quieter than my previous computer. Plus it doesn't lag at all. I might pick up a 8800GTS 320MB sometime later, so that I can play all games on the highest setting
  2. I'm using an eVGA 6800XT. It'll do for now, and with all the other hardware, it'll allow me to play on at least medium, and not "Very Low" like I have to do now Forum Wars... I can't even put this thing together myself, much less overclock
  3. Placed the order CPU: Intel C2D E6420 Motherboard: ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus PSU: OCZ GameXStream 600W? RAM: Corsair XMS2 2GB PC2 5400 DVDRW: Samsung DVD Burner
  4. I don't plan on doing much overclocking, maybe not at first. I actually couldn't find any reviews on the 680i, but many on the 650i. They all said it was a solid board with pretty much the same performance as the 680i. Since I don't need all the extras, I might just go with that one. As for the PSU, is it a bit overkill, or should I get a Aerocool Zerodba 620W for around $90?
  5. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not sure I want to go with the P5K Deluxe, since I don't need Wifi and it doesn't have SLi. And by reading the reviews, I see it has a whole bunch of problems with SATA. This one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813131153 not the 680i right?
  6. I'm purchasing parts for a new PC this week, and I'm having trouble choosing some parts. This is for gaming and multitasking work. CPU: Intel C2D E6420 Motherboard: ? PSU: OCZ GameXStream 600W? RAM: Corsair XMS2 2GB PC2 5400 DVDRW: Samsung DVD Burner I bought a Antec 900 case and a Seagate 320GB SATA drive, and I was given a 6800XT. I realize the video card isn't so good, but it's better than my FX5200, and I can always upgrade later. I wanted to get a Thermaltake 430W PSU, but the OCZ was recommended. I also wanted this MB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16
  7. I don't need an anti-spyware program running in the background. I only have ewido and SpySweeper installed for ondemand scanning Plus, my Kaspersky Internet Security has an Anti Spyware feature built in. I'm not worried about downloading spyware and stuff. I use Opera and avoid surfing random sites with IE
  8. When I exit the program, I shut it down by hitting "Shutdown" from the taskbar icon menu. When I shut it down, I want it shut down. I don't want it running in the background in any way, shape, or form. And I don't particularly like having to disable the service and reboot everytime I exit the program. It's ridiculous.
  9. I'm having a problem once I upgraded to version 5. Even after I close the program, it still has "SpySweeper.exe" running in the background, and I can't terminate it, not even with a reboot, unless I disable the service, followed by a reboot. Does that happen to anyone else?
  10. Can't you use a java-enabled browser as a VNC viewer tool as well?

  12. Thanks, but that's ok. I don't want to transform it into OS X. I just love the icons
