  1. What codec is that, I can't see the video....
  2. Ok got it working with MPC
  3. Won't let me download it.... Media Player says: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:")."
  4. The two thousand member Baptist church was filled to overflowing capacity one Sunday morning. The preacher was ready to start the sermon when two men, dressed in long black coats and black hats entered thru the rear of the church. One of the two men walked to the middle of the church while the other stayed at the back of the church. They both then reached under their coats and withdrew automatic weapons. The one in the middle announced, "Everyone willing to take a bullet for Jesus stay in your seats!" Naturally, the pews emptied, followed by the choir. The deacons ran out the door, followed by the choir director and the assistant pastor. After a few moments, there were about twenty people left sitting in the church. The preacher was holding steady in the pulpit. The men put their weapons away and said, gently, to the preacher, "All right, pastor, the hypocrites are gone now. You may begin the service."
  5. No its definitely real. If you notice, the child on the right is wearing a shoe on his right foot, and there is a big round smear where a kid kept his right foot on the ground and spun with his left. As for the TV, it looks real enough to me...
  6. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...&ATT=19-104-206 Thats the one. If they still have stock by this friday, this is what I am gonna order. Thanks for the help everyone
  7. Sorry, been busy, the mother board is a Biostar Micro ATX form M7VIG400 v7.3 The site says it will actually take a sempron CPU up to a 3000+ I don't know much about semprons, if there are two different types, a regular version, and a 64 bit version it will take the regular I guess. I know... I just haven't been able to keep up to date with the newer stuff for a while now. Are there two different versions?
  8. Well, I am definately going to get my money back, one way or another on the bad processor (See my other thread)... My problem is I now have a mother board and no processor, and a really mad child wanting a computer that should have been done well over a month ago. I was wondering if anyone one here knows of a good deal on one with a trust worthy company... Or if anyone had a used working one for cheap they were wanting to get rid of. (If so send me a PM with details please) As long as its atleast 1.4 or so ghz, speed isn't that important. I am going to search around here, but most stores here won't sell used stuff, and if its new, they charge out the nose...
  9. The new Euro language The European Union commissioners have announced that agreement has been reached to adopt English as the preferred language for European communications, rather than German, which was the other possibility. As part of the negotiations, Her Majesty's Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a five-year phased plan for what will be known as EuroEnglish (Euro for short). In the first year, "s" will be used instead of the soft "c". Sertainly, sivil servants will resieve this news with joy. Also, the hard "c" will be replaced with "k". Not only will this klear up konfusion, but typewriters kan have one less letter. There will be growing publik emthusiasm in the sekond year, when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced by "f". This will make words like "fotograf" 20 per sent shorter. In the third year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkorage the removal of double letters, which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horible mes of silent "e"s in the languag is disgrasful, and they would go. By the fourth year, peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" by z" and "w" by v During ze fifz year, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou", and similar changes vud of kors be aplid to ozer kombinations of leters. After zis fifz yer, ve vil hav a reli sensibl riten styl. Zer vil be no mor trubls or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech ozer. Ze drem vil finali kum tru!
  10. Now, where do you live? Yea I did something like that a long time ago for the oil company for about 2 months, but they paid crap money so I quit... Right now I am working for a metal fab shop and we do some things like that, but our big stuff is sheet metal, we have 6 lasers that are pretty cool, I ran one years ago, but now I am issuing the material used and get to work on comp problems... Threw my back out a month and a half into working there , now I get a gravy desk job... Oh well its the job I wanted to begin with. Most of our stuff is bus parts, particulary skins (body parts) and bumpers. Plus tons of brackets and all kinds of weird crap... Chances are, if you have ridden on a bus in the last 20 years made by IC corp, we make most of the exterior/interior parts and some of the internal engine stuff.
  11. I gotta get a boss like yours.... By the way what is your job if I might ask?
  12. And remember, if you are driving through amish country and you see a guy with his arm up a horses rear, don't panic, he's just their mechanic...
  13. I agree with Bruce... I am an atheist, and I am very very out spoken about having no religion in government, I am even against religion in a lot of ways, but this is not about my beliefs or the government, this is about a person and their personal beliefs. Remember this isn't all atheist, so lets not treat it that way. Next these guys will say government employees can't wear a cross... That's just plain wrong.
  14. Try Real Time with Bill Maher, thats his material.. I try to watch his show all the time, its pretty funny, even if you don't agree with him (which I do on most of his ramblings...)
  15. Cool thanks for the info, I'll give it a shot next time.
  16. I have tons of puzzles on my walls... Dragons, wizards, castles, warriors... I have well over 40 puzzles, most 500 pieces... There's one 2000 peice that came from germany that is the hardest one I have ever worked on. I can usually put the 500 peice ones together in one night, sometimes in just a few hours, but this monster took near 7 months... Its a real pretty picture of a castle in winter.... Can post pics if you like. As far as the adhesive goes, most people seem to swear by Liquid Nails, but I have gotten several tubes that absolutely refused to bond anything. I am betting they were old tubes that had been sitting on the store shelf for months, but its happened quite often...
  17. Married With Children, Cheers, Futurama, Fox news... (Seinfeld?!..... BLEH... yuck..)
  18. Well my biggest cockup? was starting a car that sat for over 4 years and not letting the oil penetrate before I let it be revved... (in other words, I let some one else start it while I watched and listened to the engine compartment) which ended up chewing up one of the rod bearings. Which believe it or not, turned out not to be very bad.... Although I did not catch it until later, when it was more or less too late. I sort of got lucky that the cam wasn't chewed too bad, and now I am rebuilding it for the second time hoping that a set of oversized rod bearings may do the trick, (long story) But I found out a lot of other things about the engine that I needed to fix (like the SOB who worked on it before had) the timing off by 2 teeth and I have to reset the timing, they adjusted the valves so it would run, which I found out later...HA) Bad luck.... But I have learned alot that I have avoided in the past because I lacked the knowledge/experience.... If I manage to get this done (Which I have put off and on for over a month) Will be one of my greatest accomplishments yet working on a car...
  19. I believe the government has found sort of alien tech, whether it is at area 51 or it came from Roswell, I do not know... Back in the early 20th century people were stupid enough to have riots over radio shows being real. People aren't that ignorant anymore, if it was ever annouced to have alien technology the only problems we would have are people whining that they didn't admit it earlier... It was annouced originally that alien technology was found at Roswell and there were no riots. There are alot of reasons they wouldn't annouce it other than a fear of a public uprising. Like worrying that other countries would attempt to steal the secrets and keeping the tech out of the hands of the private sector, just to name a few.
