  9. I know this by having fixed 7 Emachines with the same same basic problem 3 of those had the ram upgraded and wouldn't work the other 4 just wouldn't boot and in each case when the ram was replaced they would boot and run normal . I did find This tho Priority One Support
  10. On an Emachine 1-3-3-1 is for "Autosize DRAM" in most cases which in your case might mean the ram is bad , if you have compatible ram available that is known to be good try taking the current ram out and putting the other in .
  11. Put as many fans as you can get in there , my P4 system under full load runs at 53 degrees c and its air cooled .

  13. Install the motherboard drivers and sound drivers from the motherboard cd.
  14. There is nothing on your test that says it's running the memmery at 266 . Your system clock is running at 133 quad pumped =533 pc2700 = 333 mhz unless someone underclocked the ram . get EVEREST Home Edition 1.10 its free and see what memmery is in there now and what speed its running at .

  17. First shutdown all programs you don't need . then do an online virus scan . retest and post the link here . 100% cpu load is not normal. you need to get a second hardrive .
