  1. Hmmm, I can't think of any that were manually updated, I'll just try updating them all and see what happens
  2. Ok, I had mentioned earlier in my last post that my upstream had not been affect. I am pretty familiar with Cable internet (I work tech support for Charter) but this is still beyond my know how I'll double check my tweaks, and look into the drivers. I don't think too many of my neighbors use internet (I think I'm the only in the building on a cable internet.) I also don't think it's that because my tests were pretty much back to back. As for Drivers, that could very well be the issue (I didn't know that myself, so I've learned something new ) Any idea which ones it could be, or should I simply re-install them all? :crash:
  3. Heh, I can answer those questions: 1)Cable 2)4.256 Meg 3) Not 100% sure(as far as I know, but feel free to point in the right direction for it) 4)No, the issue has to be on my PC because I only have the speed issue when not in safe mode.
  4. Well, I can't understand it, but the fact remains that I am pulling in only 2.2Meg downstream speed in regular mode abut 3.8meg downstream in safe mode. Here's what intresting: whatever it is affecting my speed, it's not touching my upstream...
  5. Ok, I'm sure you'll find this much better http://www.pcpitstop.com/techexpress.asp?id=CYQA0WRT4HJSKTUR
  6. Hey, I've been working with Jacee on the High jack this forums concerning a speed loss. We've been onver everything she's suggested, but the fact is: I'm pulling in 3.8 while in safe mode and 2.2 normally. We can't find the loss and she suggested this forum. Here's a link to the other post so you can see what we've done: http://pcpitstop.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=112879
