  1. 240 gig Kingston 29.99 Buy 1 and try to copy it to the new SSD and see. They are 30% or more faster and make a big difference at start up
  2. All hard drives should be SSD now a days. The prices this year have dropped so much on them. you can buy 500 gig one for around 60.00.
  3. I guess I thought this would be better. http://www.pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=26054944 It does not look like its read my system right? In one place its like I have no memory? What am I missing here
  4. Well it was a sad day last week. My system died. The mother board. I loved the intel 3960x I was running, It still matched up well with newer CPU's. So I had no choice but to change. I think the biggest different my be going from ddr3 to ddr4 memory. But now I have the latest I7. I still think it was a close match to 3-4 year old CPU to the new one. The old one had more cores. http://www.pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=25880132
  5. Well I guess playing with the video makes a big difference in the score. I switched to 4K . http://www.pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=25846074 No other changes from above
  6. Had this system now for 3-4 years. Just changed my video card and added a second SSD and took out the regular hard drive. I could play with my video more I guess. I use a 4K TV as my monitor. It can get really small. It looks like it does not like my memory, Not sure why. Maybe because it's older? I have read up and down and can't seem to see any real benefit to raiding 2 SSD's on a raid 0. Anyways my computer is running great at this time. By this testing it seems like something is holding it back.. http://pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=25845205
  7. My system sees my memory just fine. But this test seems like it has not seen it right or scored me down for it. I have lots of memory
  8. Why is my memory score a -28?? I think I will play with the OC setting soon. Anyone know if raid 0 with 2 ssd drives makes any difference? Can they be any faster?
  9. I just upgraded my system again well finished what I started a month or so ago. It does not look like the test is seeing my system the right way. http://www.pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=25073038 I have not done anything yet to it. I know I can play around with it to make my score higher, But whats the point there.
  10. been a while but here is the latest tests. Just tring to see were I stand now. made some changes. http://www.pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=25035092

  12. Ok let me ask this. I can add another drive and raid it no big deal.I am running on the sata 6.0 port and there is one more spot open. i can add another 2.0 TB drive just like the first one but does anyone know if I can raid one the sata 6.0 ports? and what about the primary cant be bigger then 2.0TB? And I guess last if I cant raid on that port would there be any benfit then to add the drive and raid it if I need to use the 3.0 sata ports? Thanks
  13. Can I do a raid 0 with 1 drive? I have had a raid setup in the past with 2 drives but it really blows when 1 dies and your stuff is not easy to recover the way raid writes to both
  14. I know I have a kick system and it runs great, But when I look at my scores to others why am I so much lower? check it out http://www.pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=23720293 Thanks
