  9. Yeah just need a shot of R-134 in it normal for the age like 2zzge said front seal will let a little seep through with age and not running. If you had a leak that required repair the compressor would not be coming on at all as the low pressure switch located on the accumulator would not complete the electrical circuit that energizes the Compressor clutch. In between a little low and empty the low pressure switch will cause the compressor to cycle in and out real fast run two or three seconds and kick out. Go in to someone you can trust not someone working on their first million , and tell them just to top off the charge on the system. As most places have recycling machines now they may recover what is in your system first then put in a full charge. I would think between $50 - $100 total. 134 is about $10 a pound or 12oz can. R12 which hasn't been used since early 90s about $35 a pound So folks with old R12 systems change the charging ports with adapters and put 134 into your AC it works fine no need to change oil or O rings as you may have heard. It works great just as it is. For those that like to do it yourself they sell small kits with a charging hose but there is a risk in using this setup as you do not have a gage to show the pressure in the line you are about to open the can to. If you have a blockage or other problem the pressure on the high side is enough to rupture the can when you open it to the system. I forget whose signature it is but it says "Nothing is foolproof, because fools are so ingenious.
  10. I agree with that welding would be the best fix. But I have seen where the transmission mount bolts to the aluminum case on a Chrysler Sebring broken completely off and a friend of mine rather than buy a used transmission repaired it with Belzona. He sold the car and a couple of months later it was hit side impact on left front pretty good lick hood, fender, bumper, reinforcement, core support etc. But the Transmission mount was solid as ever. Belzona is really good stuff and small package two parts will run about $60.00. Read about it here.
  11. If you are smelling raw gas from under the hood it could be a hole in the accelerator pump. The accelerator pump is under a small square cover that has a lever and rod which are connected to the throtle linkage. Accelerator pump you can buy seperate from a carberator kit for less than $10.00 and relatively easy to replace.
  12. As we are celebrating the Blessing of this time when Jesus gave up his blood so our sins may be forgiven may we all be mindful to share our blessings. And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me. Mother Teresa said that Jesus comes to us in person who is hungry, is naked, even in the alcoholic or prostitute. In all who are in need. We are all one Mystical Body of Christ.
  13. See what you think of this one. Ok I forgot the Bear. Now everyones eyes fixed (more or less) http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/2517/me...miccore28hj.jpg
