  2. Tried both brandon, doesn't say anything My Computer / Properties and when it boots up all that is there is the XP logo no 32 or 64 bit ???? Cheers Shaun

  5. Hi Everyone, When I boot up i keep getting this error 'error code 126 BackWeb.dll' after looking on the net it seems to be a dll file missing I think, srvsvc.dll I need help to replace the dll file and fix the error Please ???? Cheers Sparky

Hi Everyone, Have just finished installing all the programs on a laptop I bought Acer TravelMate 4000, everything has gone great except MSN Messenger, when I try to sing in I keep getting an error 'Error Code 80048820 & Extended error code 80048416, I have checked my firewall settings and that is checked to allow it through, have tried uninstalling it and re-install to no avail, I can sing in fine on my Desktop PC fine, the laptop is wireless connection , no problems getting internet or anything, any Ideas Pleas Messenger Version 8.1 Cheers Sparky

Hi Everyone, I have just picked up a Acer TravelMate 4000 laptop and it had a 90 day trial version of Norton anti virus on it, I went to Add / Remove Programs to remove it and it seemed like it removed it as it showed it had, however it is still on the laptop, if i go to Add/Remove Programs it is not there but is in the program list when I click Start / Programs it does have an uninstall there but when I click on that all it does is bring the Norton configeration up, caan I try to get ride of this any other way Please ??? Hi Everyone, I'm reading any other posts on this Antivirus XP 2008 that for some reason loaded itself on my PC and I don't know how, I have done some reading on the net on how to get ride of it, they say SpyHunter but I can't afford to purchase it, I have ran spybot, chredder, super anti spyware to no avail, any help Please on how to get ride of it. Hi Everyone, I have got the laptop hard drive formated like said above with my xp disc (fat32), when I put my win98se disc in and boot from cd-rom it seems to start then come up with an error 'Failed to boot from cd-rom, do I need to load drivers or some thing from another cd first or some ting ???   14. When I try to delete the partion and format to fat32 with XP disc I get an error saying it can't do it because of process features it does not have, being CPUID and CMPXCHG8B, is there any cd I can down load to delete and format the drive ??? Cheers Sparky
