  1. Shish Kebab I thought this month's tip was in the bag ...
  2. Not even by accident, but when Iv'e been to hotel restaurants and waiters, more so porters etc; hover almost holding there hands out for a tip; they will not get a better tip than that... Very illuminating for sure...
  3. Hi Need more information, are you just setting your e-mail account up, have you sent & or received mail before. I've just sent you an E-Mail to test if I get Mail returned, it could even be that ntl now Virgin are doing selective maintenance.
  4. Never never put a light bulb in your back pocket and sit down
  5. Hi As a prime ID 10 T PC user this came as a surprise to me when I was listening to a security pod cast and just had to pass this security tip on. It turns out that more and more are using " Online Flash Cookies " they plant them without your awareness to track your movement. Semi hidden cookie techniques that you should be aware of for your own peace of mind about computer security, this will anger some of you that this practice is being adopted while little is understood about it. You can prove this yourself if you have " Flash " loaded on your " Lap Top or PC "... Delete all cookies, empty browser cache then shut down your PC wait 10 seconds or take your L.T. / PC to another location. Re-Boot then see how many sites you have visited in the last month still know you, now this is not going to be true for everybody; but there are going to be a lot of surprised faces out there for sure... Tip how to resolve this type of " Flash Cookie " In your web browser type " Flash Player Settings Manager " click on search, in the results look for then click on " Adobe Flash Player Settings Manager Website Storage Settings " this page might take a while to fully load. The good news is you can control all these settings yourself here and now. Stop all the sites you don't want to use these " Flash cookies ", while leaving any sites you trust; but then if they do this behind your back are they trustworthy. When the page has loaded a flash image interface should appear with six tab labels, just click on anyone, have a look; alter / delete them as you like. I was amazed when I found out just who is storing what cookies here. Good luck...
  6. Hi Juliet I hope you don't mind, just watching this topic and I have a question looked on their site and couldn't determine, will this run with " Windows ME "
  7. It must help if you have a unique user name, I had to glance through 5 pages before I found just one of my post; I was just glancing
  8. Hi. From there F.A.Q. page Q: What is FaxZero.com? A: FaxZero lets you send a fax to any fax machine in the United States (including Puerto Rico) or Canada for free. You don't need a fax machine yourself, but you do need a valid e-mail address. Dam shame they don't include the UK
  9. Because many a time I've deleted something that I've regretted to by mistake only to find it later in the "Recycle Bin"
  10. Use this short cut at your peril...
  11. it was Kani first post and to make a step by step video too... Anyway your easy way works with "Favorites" list too, cool... because that has buged me for ages...
  12. Champion_Munch I'm glad the other hint's helped you. Are you saying that the rating doesn't alter for this thread, my thought's on this, you might have to be the first to vote / rate a topic; try to read a topic that has no rating then rate it accordingly...
  13. Have you tried to click on the "Highlighted Text" a drop down window should appear This could be down to screen resolution, you might have to use the bottom scroll bar and move it over to the right... I had too. If the above works for you... Pass this on too the other's having trouble Nice to know I'm not the only "ID 10 T" PC user
  14. Hi... Sounds like a GR8 prog', I've downloaded it ready for when I get my second PC...
  15. I too have windows ME and normally only have to go into "Safe Mode" on start up or when "Bill Gates" software plays me up, causing a re-boot. Immediately after switching on or by pressing the reset button, I hold down "Ctrl" key until a screen appears with the various options; 3 takes me straight into "Safe Mode" No bashing my F8 key at all...
