  1. I wonder what the processor speed is on this thing??? LOL! I think the video capability will be pretty lacking.
  2. Slightly more modded. I did get a GTX 680. Will post some shots soon-one heck of a card.
  3. OK here's two shots of my newest build: THis is the 3930K with 16 GB of G.Skill Ares blue RAM.
  4. Here is the latest permutaion of my main rig. I decided to abandon the case. This is the R4E/3930K/liquid cooled set-up
  5. Hi c_b! Is this a new set-up? Just saw this thread. Glad you got everything sorted out. Man, I had a few bumps in the road getting my new R4E running, mainly because of wanting my SSDs in RAID 0. Everything seems to be running well now. Looking forward to getting aquainted with the MB features now.
  6. I did get the new chip (3930K) and MB (Rampage 4 Extreme) installed and everything is running very well so far. Finally got me past 30K... Here's the 16 bit color and oc to 4.8 GHz score: http://pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=25008894&report=Summary
  7. The 3930K arrived today! Here;s a look at it. The new R4E motherboard will arrive on Monday!
  8. So I ended up going with a 3930K chip and A Rampage IV extreme MB. Looking forward to the upgrade...
  9. So I'm looking at upgrading my CPU and MB so I can run the LGA 2011 stuff. I want to add the 3930K chip. But I'm also thinking about just picking up a pair of GTX 670s and runnng them in SLI. I just can't seem to make up my mind.
  10. Well, I've added a new PSU. I went from a 650 to and 850 watt unit. The 650 was OK for the SLI set up, but I wanted a little more head room.
  11. THanks cantry_boy! It is running well. I have to admit, I was worried about the TX650 psu not being able to provide enough power, but it has worked flawlessly even with both cards at a modest OC of 835 MHz. Spent some time yesterday running 3dMark benchtests and was very pleased.
  12. Here's a few shots of the latest configutation. I've added the Mushkin SDDs and another GTX 570 to run SLI:
  13. I'm surprised you could actually install an incorrect bios update. I think most manufacturers prevent that.
  14. Do you know how the Overdrive test determines the speed?
