  1. I have a Dell all-in-one computer running Windows 10 (AMD E2-Series - 4GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive) using a wired connection. Internet speeds are ridiculously slow. I am paying for 300 mps and the highest speed I've gotten in speed testing is 28 mps download speed. TDS Telecom is my provider and has been out twice this week. They replaced the router, did multiple tests and found nothing wrong. Testing on their equipment using my connections is near 300 mps. Another tech came out today to try and figure it out - same thing. Works fine on his equipment, but not on mine. My wireless connec

  3. I am running the latest version of Firefox. I continually get a pop-up that pretends to be from Microsoft, saying "your computer has been blocked. Your computer has alerted us that it has been infected with a virus and spyware...." The link is getyourdesktopfixed.site I only get this with Firefox and no other browsers. I have run Norton as well as Malwarebytes and neither catches anything. Any suggestions?
  4. All done. Thank you so much for all your help - it was great to work with you.
  5. I ran the uninstaller, removed Java, reinstalled it, ran CCleaner again, rebooted. It seemed to boot up a little quicker this time. I don't see any other issues

  7. Carbonite backs up on an ongoing basis, as files are created, rather than at a set time as far as I know. I will look for the back up. Here's the scan from OTM, and I'll run the Security Check. 8. Good morning. I ran the OTM tool which required a reboot. I couldn't get past the start up screen so had to manually turn off. Second reboot was still slow but worked. 9. I use Carbonite to back up, but I didn't know it kept any files on the hard drive. I haven't restored since I've had this computer. It may be tomorrow before I can do the scans - kids just got home from Germany!
  10. I ran the analysis scan but am having trouble finding the log. I don't see anything with that file name or anything close. Is it supposed to be accessed from the removal tool? I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for - it wasn't a zip file. 12. Ahh - it's running again now and is at 50%. I'll just let it do it's thing and maybe it'll finish before New Year's
  13. Yes it's still going. Can I hit the Report button while it's running?
  14. Yes, it shows 49%. I tried to post a screen shot but says I'm not allowed to do that. I'm thinking it may be stuck.
  15. Yep, still running in task manager. It had found 20 infected files so far. The duration timer is still moving, but the files scanned isn't changing. It's at 49%.
