  1. Thanks everybody! I'll try the links and stuff and get back to you. Bob
  2. Hi, :help: I'm wondering if there is a way to get a list of programs that should be running in the background of the OS. When I hit Ctrl>Alt>Del, I have about 7 things running in the background, and no programs are actually running. I have WinMe. Something seems to be using my resources, but I don't know what. I know that ME isn't the best OS, but something is slowing my computer down alot. Thanks, Bob
  3. I didn't find trickler. Maybe it was just presision time. Thanks, Bob
  4. Thanks, I got rid of Presision Time. The others weren't on there. I'll work on the other things. Bob
  5. Hi, I ran a pc test today, and it recommended that I remove Gator Spyware. Great, however, it's not located in the Add/Remove programs. When I do a search for it, it shows up. How would I remove it? Thanks, Bob
  6. Thanks Ax, For some reason I just didn't see it. I thought I looked everywhere, but there was somewhere I didn't. I just joined the forums yesterday, so I'm trying to sponge everything I can to make it easy. Thanks again, Bob
  7. Alrighty, Here's the test http://www.pcpitstop.com/techexpress.asp?i...A04WWQRBB0SXJUD Thanks, Bob
  8. Yeah, I love it! I didn't know it would do that. That's better than I hoped for. Thanks alot Dave, Bob
  9. Thanks Dave, I hope I sent the message correctly. Bob
  10. Hi Debbie, Thanks for the ideas! I didn't think of that. I'll work on them. I'll try everything that I can. I appreciate it. You have a great weekend too. Bob
  11. Dave, there's not even anything there that says communicate or anything like it. Idunno
  12. Dave, I clicked on your name and it brought up your profile. In there, I didn't see anything that said anything about a PM. Can you let me know? Thanks, Bob
  13. Dave, First of all when I registered, I got an email from Pc Pitstop that contains a link under the topic "How to change your registration data". The URL is http://www.pcpitstop.com/pcpitstop/ Then you enter your email address and password, then when your logged in, theres a little link in there that says "change login". I was able to change it but it dosen't get activated even though it says in the home page that my log-in is the new one that I chose. But when I post a message, it still says my first and last name. So how can I PM you with the new name that I want. Thanks for the help, Bob
  14. Wow! Thanks for all the info. I'll start working on it. Bob
