  1. Finally have this MB running smooth no more lockups had to turn off all the energy saving functions in the bios and that seemed to do the trick. http://www.pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=22144887
  2. Thanks badbinary It's strange, it sounds like it shuts down but the mouse stays lit up. All the other lights turn off no blinking power light or anything like that.
  3. I have another ? when I shut down my system my mouse still has power to it (optical) the only way I can shut it off is the PS off switch, is this normal for this MB ( GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-UD3LR LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard ) I looked in the bios and wake on mouse is disabled. Thanks for any help.
  4. 2 HDs so I should see a big increase going to 4
  5. So I'm having lockups on the new system, I thinks it's the PS the MB calls for a 500watt and mine is only 380. Also I removed my two DVD drives and floppy drive and it's occurring a lot less. Tried a couple clean installs, with the same results. I'm going to order a new PS and see if it helps. Also why I'm at it I was thinking of buying to more HDs for a raid setup of 4 drives would I see much of a gain? My pit tests show HD scores of 120 to 125 now. Thanks

  13. My new MB came in and it booted up but I'm not sure I'll be able to save my raid array It sees the drives as a raid array but will not boot to windows, I only had an hour to install the MB and try to start it, had to head to work. Anybody Know if it matters how I have the drives plugged into the MB on a raid 0 setup sata1 = drive one sata2 = drive 2 if you swap them will if mess with it? Hope this made sense. Thanks for any input.
