  10. Hi @Clark W The message you received refers to an error on PayPal's side. According to their status history page they had an issue yesterday that should be resolved. I would suggest clearing your browser cache and trying again. The installation CD contains the current install files for our software programs. You will be able to immediately download PC Matic as soon as you place your order and can always access the latest versions via our website. The CD is optional and most likely not needed.   13. @JimR Hello and welcome to the forums! I'm sorry, there is not a way to excluded specific files/folders from the PC Matic scan. If there is something being identified as malware that you do not want removed, you can turn off AUTO FIX, run a scan, then whitelist the specific files from the High Security section of the scan report. If we can help with anything else, please let us know.

  18. Hi @mjottii In a future version of macOS, Apple is changing the way programs like PC Matic can load system extensions. There is a version of PC Matic in development that will be released before then that will comply with Apple's new security requirements. PC Matic will continue to work on your computer in the meantime.

Hi @KevinB To scan a flash drive, or external hard drive: 1) Plug the device into your computer. 2) Open PC Matic and click on the "Options" button. 3) Under Scan Options > Drives to Scan, place a check in the boxes for only the drives that you want scanned. 4) Click the green "Save" button and close out of the Options menu. You can now run a scan and only the checked drives will be scanned.

  24. Hi @johnnyD To create a desktop shortcut in Windows 10: Click on the Start button (Windows icon in the lower left corner). Scroll to the PC Pitstop folder and click on it to expand it. Single click and hold on the PC Matic icon, drag it to the Desktop, then release the mouse button to 'drop' the icon.
