  1. Hi @DESKTOP-F12QG Ajax errors are a result of data transmission to our servers being interrupted. Since there are a number of reasons that could cause this issue, I have opened up a ticket in our support help desk so we can get the information we need to resolve the issue for you.   3. Hello @NRP PC Matic Mac is currently in a beta release, which means a version of the program is available for installation while the final release version is still being developed.   4. Please click the SuperShield icon in the bottom right corner of the computer screen beside the time and date. A small menu will appear. Choose "Protection Level" then "Allow Java" For your highest level of protection we recommend that you only use "Allow Java" mode when using a program or site that is being disabled by the default protection mode. If that does not resolve the issue, please open a support ticket at https://www.pcmatic.com/help so we can take a closer look.
  5. Sorry, PC Matic does not have an app for the Apple iPhone. PC Matic can be installed computers that run Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 operating systems. We are currently in beta testing for Apple MacOs. PC Matic will not run on Kindles, Chromebooks, Apple iPad or iPhone, WindowsRT, nor on devices using the Atom processor. PC Matic does not work on the 1st generation Microsoft Surface, but does run on Microsoft Surface Pro 2 and later. Please open your web browser, then copy and paste the links below, one at a time, into the address bar, then hit the Enter key: defs.pcpitstop.com/3.0.15.0/pcpsfed.dat defs.pcpitstop.com/3.0.15.0/pcpsfed-inc.dat Follow the prompts to download each file to the computer, use the navigation tools to put the file somewhere that you can find it easily. Once you have the files downloaded, go to Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Folder Options (or File Explorer Options in Windows 10) and click on the View tab, then move the dot to "Show hidden files and folders" and click on Apply. Next, navigate to C:\Program Data\PCPitstopDat and move the downloaded pcpsfed.dat and pcpsfed-inc.dat file to inside of the datRTP folder that is at that location. After you have both files inside the datRTP folder, reboot the computer and let us know if the issue is not resolved. If you can't allow the service this way, you can try the following: You will need to allow PC Matic and SuperShield through the Windows Firewall: https://supportfiles.pcpitstop.com/HelpDeskVisualAid/Windows/How_to_AllowPCMatic_thru_Firewall.pdf Once that is complete, stop the SuperShield Realtime service and restart: type in services.msc, and press Enter look for "Security Center" in the list of services (PCPitstop Realtime) turn it off, then wait until the shield turns red, then turn it back on If that does not resolve the issue, please open a support ticket here so we can take a closer look for you.
