  9. One piece of advice I would give your friend though would be, to shut down any running programs that he doesn't need that may be using bandwidth with updates and so forth. You want to devote as much of the bandwidth as possible to the task at hand.

  16. I like to run a combination of Disk Cleaner from Dicksters link, and follow with CCleaner fom Wademans link. I would highly recommend it. :beer:
  17. Gotta agree with kd5 on this one. SystemSuite is an excellent program. It uses less resources than any Firewall/Anti-virus combo I've ever used, and it's a complete suite of tools. Most people look at security suites like this as bloated resource hogs, and most of them are...but SystemSuite is'nt one of them. :beer:
