  1. OK, thank you for the reply. I save my System Images to a Samsung 840 EVO 500 GB drive and a redundant copy to a 3.5" 1 TB HDD as a failsafe. It would be easy enough for me to remove the 840 EVO from my case and then slip it into the docking station each day. After that I can eject it and store it in a safe place for later.
  2. After seeing your Facebook post about Ransomware I had a question for Dodi Glenn who was mentioned in the post as being the vice president of cyber security at PC Pitstop. I have looked high and low for anything by her and this Ransomware threat but have come up empty. In the article linked to your Facebook post you mention that later revisions of this Ransomware also deletes Shadow Copies used to restore files. http://www.csoonline.com/article/3044015/security/a-history-of-ransomware.html Will these latest revisions to this malware also delete my System Images? If not then I am safe as I
  3. Does your internet driver use any kind of Network Manager software? My MSI Z97 Gaming 7 motherboard uses a Qualcomm Killer e2200 Gigabit Network Controller. It has a Network Manager utility that attempts to prioritize which of your running programs have priority to internet access. I have had nothing but issues with this Killer Network Manger and had to remove it or disable it in Services. I found a download for the driver only without the Killer Network Manager and my problems similar to yours disappeared. ASRock also has a similar utility if you are using an ASRock motherboard. Just my input
  4. Not wanting to take anything away from your contribution but what does this give you in extra capabilities or extra utilities that can't be found by right-clicking the Windows icon in my Taskbar in Windows 10? I have looked and searched using Google and I can't find anything specific to what this 'God-Mode' adds in addition to everything available in the right-click menu on the Windows Start button. Anything you can tell me is appreciated. I had tried God-Mode in Windows 7 and I got constant errors when making a System Image. Of course Windows 7 didn't have the extra functions now available in
  5. I couldn't agree more about the quality people here. You're all a great bunch and I am happy to be Folding with you for as long as you'll have me.
  6. Yep, I really did do it! Congrats to devon on his milestone too! This is a great team and it looks like we'll be moving on up in the ranks pretty soon too!
  7. 70 million is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations.
  8. Just passed 9 million this morning before tearing my PC down to upgrade my watercooling loop with some new EK parts. It looks like I'll be using my Windows 10 backup PC until I'm finished with my upgrades. Fold on!
  9. Congrats nigsy. Zuhl3156 reached 8 million yesterday at the 9:00 pm update:
  10. Zuhl3156 passed 7 million yesterday. Woohooo!!!
  11. Guns, silent but deadly Folding Ninja!
  12. My eyes aren't what they used to be. It might be time to drag out the old Klieg lights. ROFL
  13. OK, made it to 100 without any problems but didn't get credit until 10:00 pm. I just wish I'd stop getting these 8 to 10 hour long projects. I will be gone for a week fulfilling other obligations hopefully with smaller Projects.
  14. Thank you, team. Working on the 100 Work Unit mark as we speak. Only 8 hours to go to see if it finishes successfully.
  15. Thank you for noticing, dianamite. Just sitting here quietly doing whatever I can whenever I can to do my part as a member of your fine Folding team. I just broke through the 1 million point barrier this morning.
  16. All system specs here: http://www.modsrigs.com/detail.aspx?BuildID=34135 GPU is GTX-980 and drivers are 361.43 WHQL. The only reference that I can find about that error only pertains to Linux and CUDA cores so go figure. Things are fine today. Stanford might have 'pushed' an updated GPU list or Core update by surprise. I was not amused. Here are two of the 9 errors listed in my Event Viewer:
  17. Stanford slammed the door in my face yesterday with a never before seen error. I think they pushed an update through the servers that hit many folders. I surrendered for the day but I'm back at it this morning. Here's the error on my PC: 18:16:25:WU00:FS00:0x18:ERROR:exception: Error downloading array energyBuffer: clEnqueueReadBuffer (-5) 18:16:25:WU00:FS00:0x18:Saving result file logfile_01.txt 18:16:25:WU00:FS00:0x18:Saving result file log.txt 18:16:25:WU00:FS00:0x18:[email protected] Core Shutdown: BAD_WORK_UNIT 18:16:26:WARNING:WU00:FS00:FahCore returned: BAD_WORK_UNIT (114 = 0x72)
