  1. Well, that's good to hear. I really hope he walks away from Team EVGA like I did along with many, many others. Each and every year they demand more and more for the same useless 10 EVGA bucks while we get the privilege to spend twice as much as the year before for our electricity.

  2. I will try to reach 80 Million next month depending on this month's electric bill. Last month was only $52 which wasn't bad. It seems that your former #1 producer for the team is currently AWOL on all fronts. I hope he is doing well wherever he is.

  3. I have no idea, sorry.... just wanted to say I noticed how GREAT you are folding!! Awesome numbers!

Thank you and right back at you. I have to figure my budget each month then decide how much I can Fold. You keep plodding along at a steady pace that I really like. I get my Z270 motherboard and i5-7600k CPU tomorrow so I can run all three of my GTX-980 ti boards at the same time. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16813157753

    I can get a fourth 980 ti for only $399.99 : http://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=06G-P4-0998-RX

Or I can get 3 or 4 GTX-1080 Gaming 8G for $499.99 with a discount for the first and then $519.99 for the rest: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-127-950

GTX-1080 ti is supposed to be a 38% performance increase over the GTX-1080 but is it really worth the extra $300.00 for the 1080 ti? I am powering down now as I fear I have reached my budget limit for the month. Once I get all three 980 ti boards installed in the Z270 motherboard I will let it run along side this PC and see if I truely get 3 million ppd output.

I will need to start unloading these extra video boards pretty soon no matter how you look at it.

  4. Does anyone actually own a GTX-1080 who has had run it for 24 hours straight so I can get an estimate on how many ppd I can expect from each 1080? Three GTX-980 ti running at 1443 MHz yield 2.1 million ppd. If I add that to this PC running a pair of MSI GTX-980 Gaming 4G boards I can get 3 million+ ppd from both computers. I am trying to decide if the added expense of a GTX-1080 ti over a GTX-1080 at $489.99 each is worth the extra cash. Any thoughts are welcome, logical or otherwise. I'm not picky.

  5. Thanks, I'm done for the month. I had one weird glitch on the other machine about an 'unknown error returned to Stanford'. IDK if it cost me a WU or not. Next month we'll go for the 50 million mark, OK? At least I moved up a spot into #10. I need to get one of those portable defibrilators for when my electric bill arrives next week.

  6. I quit Folding last week after too many failed WU. Neither of my PCs ever get failed WU. I refuse to stomach any of Stanford's BS about either of my PCs being defective. The chance of both of my PCs suddenly becoming unstable at the exact same time makes it double BS from Stanford.

  7. Hello-

PC Pitstop is looking at redoing the forums webpage, but we want your feedback before we make too many changes.

First, we are discussing minor changes. These would be focused on membership rewards. This would include featuring special forums for members only, and potentially a contest for the best tip shared each month by members.

Secondly, we are looking at redoing the layout of the entire page. This would mean still having the Community tab, but also adding a Membership tab. Each tab would then have subcategories, such as:

    Windows 10

    - Support

     - Tips and Tricks

    Windows 8

    - Support

    - Tips and Tricks

There would also still be the categories for Networks, Viruses, etc. Essentially we want to organize the page to make it more functional. However, we want to be sure this is something the current users agree could be beneficial.

Let us know what you think, and what ideas you may have to help make our forums better for our users!

How about a tab under our avatar to display our system specs. It would be a great help if we knew what hardware a member was using if they asked for help with something.

  8. We did we did nice job everyone. :)  :)

This team definitely has heart and it's a great feeling to be part of it. "Number Sixty-three" has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? I feel a few inches taller and seem to have a little more bounce in my step. LOL
